Video of the Week #4

Hello everyone!

As you probably know, few weeks ago we started a new cycle called Video of the Week on our Facebook page. Every Sunday we pick one video from youtube or sent by our users to us. This week we found a video that make our crew laugh a bit :) All credits go to Wouter and his video catching bug in Battlefield 3. Here's what he said about that bug "I was minding my own business, when suddenly my left wheel hit the ocean and I started bouncing! It was like the ocean was playing badminton, and I was the shuttle :D I managed to capture the final moments :)"
Under the video we present you what Wouter told us about his experience with Action!

Hi!
First of all: I'm a big fan of your products, as I have bought every single one of them :)
One of the main reasons I use Action to record video's is that it hardly has any impact on my computer. With other recording tools the framerate is slown down noticeably even with a nice intel sandy bridge 2600k cpu.
I usually record with 30fps in Action because the files remain a descent size that way. I do have a 2TB drive, but this way I can record a lot :)The resolution I record is 1920x1200, the full resolution of my monitor. To send the movie to youtube I used the build in youtube (HD) tool in Action. I selected the high quality setting and used the highest mbit/s (7 I believe).
At the moment I might have a sandy bridge and 16GB of ram, but my videocard is still an nVidia gtx260. I'm looking for an upgrade, perhaps the new GTX680. It's just that I'd rather have the GK110 chip instead of the GK104 in this card.
Because I still have a gtx260 I have Battlefield 3 running on low settings. I manage to reach 60fps easily, and I like to keep it that way: I rather have a high fps than fancy graphics with low fps.
Thanks for choosing my video!Wouter

Video of the Week #3

Hello again,

Another Sunday is behind us and another Video of the Week has been chosen on our Facebook page. This time it's a gameplay from first mission perspective in Need For Speed: The Run recorded by blueburnHD with Action! software. First time in NFS series you can actually get out of the car and play as actual character so it's something different than all the previous series. We tried to contact author of this video for further information about his experience with Action! and his PC specifications. We didn't receive any response so this time w have to skip this part, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't watch the video. It's prime quality and shows a bit of the fun that goes along with Need For Speed: The Run. Don't forget to turn 1080p. Enjoy!

We mentioning this in every single entry, so here it is again! Everyone have a chance to join the cycle and be highlighted! Just send us your Action! videos or share your links on our facebook wall! Don't forget to correctly tag your recordings on Youtube or other video sites! It will help us with finding all your recordings. Because apart from the fact that you send your videos to us, we are looking for you online all the time!

Don't forget to follow us here also for further stories  and entries. Check also our newest tweets on @MirillisTeam and recent status updates on official fanpage.

P.S. As soon as we get any response from blueburnHD we will update this note so you can have more information about this video and his experience with Action!

Second video of the week - Mass Effect 3 Headshot Compilation

Second Video of the Week from our cycle is here. It’s headshots compilation made by nickSer28 recorded with Action! in fresh hot Mass Effect 3. Under the video you can read nickSer28’s personal opinion about Action! and his PC specification. Since nickSer28 is Spanish we have to translate his opinion for our English speaking users.

Enjoy the video and visit our Facebook page, where you can post your videos and be the next chosen in our weekly cycle Video of the Week. Share your video on our Facebook wall or send link to your video to our email mirillis@mirillis.com.

“Really amazing, never imagined that it was so easy to handle and less impressive quality that records video. It’s a master program, plus, if it’s good in itself it gets better if you’re owner of NVIDIA graphics card, then it’s no equal to others”

And here’s nickSer28’s PC specification and graphic settings he used in Mass Effect 3:
- PC:
Windows ® 7 Home Premium - 64 bit.
Intel ® Core ™ i7 - 2600 (3.3 GHz).
NVIDIA ® GT530 2GB.
8GB RAM DDR3.
1 TB hard drive.
Monitor LG Flatron L1915S 19 ".
- Graphics Settings Mass Effect 3:
Resolution: 1200x1024.

We switched to Facebook Timeline for Pages.

Hello fans.

At the end of February Facebook launched Timeline for Pages. It didn't take long to see how much potential it gives for corporate commercial brands and companies like ours. So we didn't hesitate for a long time and decided to follow the trends. Our Facebook Page is now adapted to new Facebook look, which will be mandatory for each page on march 30th. We decided to switch it in advance because of our fans. We wanted to give you opportunity to adjust to our new look earlier than March 30th. Additionally, together with the new Facebook Timeline start, we launched two dedicated tabs for our page.

First one, green icon with white play button, is the Video Tutorials tab where you can find all the tutorials made by Mirillis Team. This is still work in progress, but currently you can watch two basic tutorials for Action! First is Mirillis Action! basics - about HUD in desktop recording mode where you can learn how to setup your HUD and configure all the settings that goes on with it. On the second video Mirillis Action! basics - games, desktop and desktop region recording overview you can learn all about Action! basics such as setting up desktop region recording and learning about three different recording modes.

Second tab called Support Desk is dedicated for our users who find troubles while using our software. Clicking on blue icon will open a Facebook tab with our support form where you can describe your problem and send a ticket to our support staff who will contact you with solution to fix your problem.

We think that these two are the most important for our fans and should be highlighted as first two. The rest tabs you can view by rolling up the menu, simply click the arrow down right from the blue Support Desk tab.

So as you can see, we are changing. We h ope that these changes will receive a positive feedback from our fans, because you're are important to us. We are always open for suggestions, so do not hesitate to contact us.

Mirillis Team.
