Solution for "Illegal copy of Action!" problem




This problem occurs in the following situations:
  • You have copied some 3rd party files into Action! installation directory
  • You have installed older Action! version without uninstalling newer version first
  • Something went wrong during installation and some file were not copied correctly

To fix the problem please follow the steps below:

  • Go to Action! installation directory (default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mirillis\Action!) and click Uninstall.exe
  • Follow instructions and uninstall Action!
  • Make sure that all files from Action! installation directory has been deleted. If you experience any problems during uninstall, in example with some files access, please restart your PC and try again.
  • Download the latest Action! version
  • Install Action! on your PC
